PROMANT was contracted by a local contractor for the construction of a new Youth Justice Detention Centre. They achieved significant success in implementing a structured and accountable approach to design management and Requests For Information (RFIs). PROMANT effectively managed complex subcontract trade packages, including security, secure/specialist doors/window frames and hardware, mechanical systems, fencing, and building management systems (BMS).

They also managed general trade packages such as concrete, structure, civil, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic works. PROMANT demonstrated proactive management of subcontractor queries and coordination by addressing issues ahead of time and forecasting future challenges rather than dealing with them on an urgent basis.

They provided upfront design solutions and recommendations whenever possible to expedite the design review and RFI processes. Additionally, PROMANT engaged in forward forecasting of the project’s schedule and trade resourcing to ensure that resource constraints were identified early on, and trades could prepare in advance for efficient ramping up of work.
